Energy Star Sales Tax Holiday This Weekend in North Carolina

Starting Friday November 6th and all through Sunday November 8th NC residents will be able to buy Energy Star qualified products with not sales tax. Of course you continue to save money for years with any of these products which typically use at least 15% less energy that other models. 
 
The many items which are exempt for state and local sales tax during the Energy Star sales tax holiday, include:

• Washing machines (clothes)
• Refrigerators and Freezers
• Central air conditioners and room air conditioners
• Air-source heat pumps and geothermal heat pumps
• Ceiling fans
• Dehumidifiers
• Programmable thermostats

So if you've been putting off a replacement, now could be the time to act.
