According to a study released by the UK's Sustainable Consumption Roundtable, renewable energy generation has the power to, "engage homes and schools to actively cut their energy use and connect with climate change solutions." They say that the visible presence of wind turbines and other micro-generation "provides a tangible reminder of energy use."
